Etiquette Traditional Thai massage principles and practice date back hundreds of years and are based on the Bhuddist principles of respect and dignity. This mindfulness is continued today within my practice and treatments. Please do not embarress us or yourself by requesting or expecting inappropriate services - they are not available! Attire Many of the traditional diciplines involve aromatic oils and water. For this reason, we will provide you with the appropriate clothing and changing facilities. You will also be provided with fresh clean hot towels. Suitability Some Thai massage techniques can be quite physical so it is important that you inform me of any medical conditions that may preclude you from the therapies available. Also, many of the treatments are not suitable for pregnant women or new mothers. Please ensure that you make any relevant conditions known prior to engaging on a course of treatment. |
